About

Ander Smith has broad experience in working as both in-house counsel and attorney at top-notch law firms. Aside from helping business owners in their sales and transactions, he has also advised entrepreneurs and helped them negotiate with large multi-national firms. He’s served as lead attorney in transactions with well-known corporations such as DreamWorks, Thermo Fisher, Ford, IBM, and Travelocity, to name a few.

Before venturing out independently, Ander served as General Counsel for Ringland-Johnson, Inc., a regional construction and real estate development firm. For this role, his job was to oversee all legal matters, from routine contract negotiations to joint venture arrangements and structuring. He also addressed conflicts with owners and sub-contractors and worked with outside counsel as necessary.

Additionally, he also worked as a managing broker for Ringland’s real estate development affiliate. Here, he analyzed legal issues on potential developments and structured financial pro forma and equity arrangements.

At Qwest, he was one of four attorneys responsible for negotiating agreements with Qwest’s Fortune 1000 customers.
